Delicious Press! Marni and Aaron in 201 Bride Magazine

Be sure to pick up the latest issue of 201 Bride magazine to see the wedding of PBW clients Marni and Aaron. The couple hosted an elegant wedding with accents of pink and brown and lots and lots of yummy chocolate. Who says you can't incorporate food into a wedding design??? It was elegant AND delicious! The tables were covered with a chocolate pintuck linen and each table was named after a popular chocolate from different countries around the world. At the end of the night guests were treated to a gorgeous and decadent candy buffet.
Here are few pics from their wedding! (professional pics by Lorraine Patricia). Special thanks to Laurelwood Designs, Jar of Ideas Design Studio, Florentine Gardens, Sal Travis Entertainment, Donna and Company, Brigitte Hajjar, Tricia Catenaro and Laura Adams at 201 Bride.

Lauren and Geoff...a Dream Wedding in Lake George

On Saturday June 20, two years of intense planning finally came to fruition...Lauren Morere married Geoff Berger...and it was spectacular!

I started working with the Moreres almost two years ago. Lauren, along with her mother Annette, have been an absolute dream to work with. The family hired us to help them design a "platinum" style, one of a kind wedding at the Inn at Erlowest in Lake George, NY. The theme....peaches and creams with lots of decadent gold accents.

Monique and I made numerous trips up to Lake George and enjoyed every minute we spent with the Morere family. I have to thank Lauren and Annette for granting us such an enourmous amount of creative freedom and the ability to design without limits. And I can't thank them enough for their neverending hospitality, graciousness and kindness.

And of course...I must extend a special THANK YOU to our talented vendors...everyone as usual exceeded my expectations...

I want to also say Thank you to the Inn at Erlowest, Susan at Glen Sanders Catering, Carol at Destiny Designs, Al Woodward, the NY Players, Monique Morales, my fabulous interns and assistants Rebecca and Taia, and Alonzo Fireworks. Everyone did such a wonderful job!

Here are some pics from Josh Lynn and a few others taken by Touch of Elegance. Please enjoy!

Monique and I want to personally congratulate the happy couple and wish them years and years of wedded bliss! We're going to miss working with you!!!!!

A Castle, A Couple, A Fairytale Wedding...

We recently had the pleasure of working with yet another amazing couple, Marissa and Mike. On June 6th the pair exchanged vows at the incredible Oheka Castle on Long Island. PBW was on hand all day to ensure everything went off without a hitch! And we're happy to say that the day went perfectly. Marissa looked absolutely beautiful and Mike was smiling from ear to ear all day! The color pallette was make up of hues of lavender and the room looked breathtaking. No detail was overlooked...the couple had couture stationery, custom linens, elaborte centerpieces and a cake that was simply spectacular! We TRULY enjoyed working with this couple and their families. Plus, the staff at Oheka went above and beyond and we want to extend a big THANK YOU to them and all the amazing vendors who worked so hard to make this wedding a memorable one. Special thanks to BrettMatthews.com for the wonderful pics!

We wish Mike and Marissa a wonderful honeymoon in Italy and a lifetime of happiness!

Chocolatinis in South Beach...A New Twist on the Modern Bridal Shower

I was recently asked by my good friend and editor of New Jersey Bride, Molly Tully, to help her with a new article about bridal showers that she was writing for the upscale magazine Park Place. When she told me the focus was CHOCOLATE and that the real star of the article was my dear friend Diane Pinder, owner of Donna Toscana/Shop Donna in Cranford...I was really excited! My task....design a unique bridal shower inside Diane's chocolate boutique. At first I was going to design something using the exisiting decor and Tuscan architecture, but that all changed as soon as I heard from my good friend that she booked a weekend getaway to the beautiful South Beach, FL. THAT WAS IT!!!! MY INSPIRATION!!!! I was going to design a bridal shower and the theme would be CHOCOLATINIS IN SOUTH BEACH!!!! From there I just went crazy! I called on my best vendors (Touch of Elegance, Cam Turner Design, Jersey Street Furniture, Cakes By Stef, Table Wraps) and told them my vision...As you can see from the pics below, the room turned out fabulous! I also have to give a big thanks to my gorgeous models (current and former PBW clients) Ashley, Eva, Courtney and Shannon...you ladies rocked! And of course, I had my #1 girl Monique in there as well. Special thanks to Molly Tully, Sharon Cain and Laura Moss. It was such a pleasure working with all of you! I can't wait to see the magazine spread in January! And of course...a HUGE thank you to Diane Pinder of Shop Donna/Donna Toscana...as usual your chocolates, fondue and yummy chocolatinis were beyond delicious!

A very special night for PBW: Nicki and Mike Get Married

On May 29th, Nicki and Mike took their vows and celebrated in a couture, purple and damask wonderland at the Liberty House in Jersey City. The PBW crew had been anxiously awaiting this event for MONTHS, as every detail was so special...from the stationery and floral design...down to the rhinestone encrusted napkin rings!

Jenny and Melissa met Nicki and Mike on a slushy winter evening this past December. They hit it off with the couple INSTANTLY...as their enthusiasm for their quickly approaching wedding (and their insane love for each other) made them thristy to get started on their plans right away. PBW hit the ground running...and within a couple of months, a truly amazing design concept was born...infusing Nicki's love of the color purple, with Mike's desire to incorporate the popular black and white damask pattern in a funky and unique way. Adding in pops of fuschia made the palatte complete...but it didn't stop there! Instead of using one palatte throughout the space...we took specific elements of the wedding design to pop in other areas of the event..giving each area a distinct look that didn't take away from the amazing ballroom design.

The ceremony area was highlighted by a GORGEOUS chuppah...complete with hanging crystals, and suspended orchids and votives. The lucite top allowed for candles to sit right on top...so it was COMPLETELY framed in candlelight. Lisa and her team at A Touch of Elegance worked it out...so fantastic! The icing on the cake...an amazing customized aisle runner with the couple's monogram...provided by the wonderful people at The Original Runner Company (www.originalrunners.com)!

For cocktail hour, we used the black and white damask design and mixed it into a funky lounge area in the center of the tented area and decided to pop the design with lime green for a fresh, modern look. Some pops of fushia were brought into the unique escort card table design as well. The goal was to keep the guests intrigued...and boy, did it work...they had no idea what surprises were in store!

The ballroom...what can we say, truly SPECTACULAR! The design brought in all of our couple's desires...times ten! The design included 3 different centerpieces throughout the ballroom, with one centerpiece in particular that rocked Nicki and Mike's socks off when we revealed it to them a few weeks prior. A custom designed lampshade centerpiece, covered with black and white damask fabric and completely blinged out with hanging crytals...sitting atop a submerged orchid in a tall cylinder vase...and it actually lit up! Another masterpiece by Lisa and her team! Submerged orchid centers and a modern cluster of fuschia blooms rounded out the centerpiece designs. Beautiful linens (provided by our friends at BBJ Linen) in smoky purples and amythest looked great on the tables, as well as the beaded chargers by Party Rental Ltd (thanks Anne!).

Nicki and Mike were totally overwhelmed and amazed for their ballroom reveal...we can't completely divulge the sentiments of our groom, but it went along the lines of "Are you KIDDING me??!! ..I can't believe this!". Followed by our favorite thing in the world... our bride and groom attacking us with hugs and kisses ...THRILLED with what has come to life in front of their eyes! It was a great moment for Jenny, Melissa, and crew...we did it!
And the best was yet to come....to officially "kick off" the festivities..Nicki and Mike managed to keep mum about their surprise for their guests. Before we knew it...all of the terrace doors were opened and all of Nicki and Mike's guests were treated to a glorious fireworks display, completely choreographed (to a tee!) to music! All we could do was sit and stare up in awe of the 15 minute show. Lots of cheers...ooh and ahhs...and it was just the beginning of a wonderful night of celebration!

So many people to thank...first and foremost to the PBW crew assisting Jenny and Melissa all day...Monique, Erika, Nicole and Angela...you rocked it out!
Extra special thanks to Danielle Villa and her staff at the Liberty House, you are the best! Another shout to our girl Lisa Plociniak and her entire crew at A Touch of Elegance Floral design (http://www.njweddingflorist.com/) ...there are no words...it just keeps getting better! To Our dynamic photographic duo...Chris and Suzanne Lo Bue of CLB Photography(www.clbphoto.com) ...the pics are beyond awesome...you rock our socks every time! Thanks to Mike Hernandez and his crew at Sounds to Go DJs (www.soundstogodjs.com) for providing sound for ceremomy and cocktail hour..and getting those booties shaking on the dance floor! Thanks also go to Rich at Infinity Studios for all the uplighting (http://infinitystudioslightingandevents.com/) and the amazing custom gobo, Charlie Ortiz at Krystle Clear Productions (www.kcpweddings.com) for video, Melissa Weiss at Signature Event Rentals for the fabulous lounge furniture, and for makeup, PBW's very own Adhari Fullman of Gloss and Shadow for making Nicki and her girls look so glamourous! We cannot forget Cam of Cam Turner Design (www.camturnerdesign.com) for all of the stationery details...the invites, programs, everything...were fantastic..you outdid yourself! The lovely ladies of Sensibly Sweet for the delish cookie favors (http://www.sensiblysweetnj.com) -they totally matched the decor, so adorable! And last, but not least, to Buddy Valastro of Carlos Bakery in Hoboken for the incredible black and white damask cake...not only fabulous looking, but so yummy!

Jenny, Melissa and the entire Pampered Bride team want to wish you, Nicki and Mike, all the happiness in the world..you deserve it!

Enjoy your honeymoon!
