So we just got word from one of our super fun brides, Lindsey, that a picture from her Liberty House wedding was submitted by a friend to TMZ.com's "Coolest Catered Party Contest"...and lo and behold..it not only gets posted, but it ranks 36th out of 100!

It's definitely something different to see a PBW wedding (even just a snapshot) on a site notoriously known for loads of celebrity gossip/news..but hey, it's all in good fun, right?

Eva and Delon - Another Gorgeous Palace Wedding

On Saturday PBW clients Eva and Delon got married at the beautiful Palace at Somerset Park. We've been working with this fabulous couple for over a year. And while we we are always so excited to finally see our hard work come to fruition, it's never fun when the working relationship ends. So let us focus on the fabulous couple and their gorgeous wedding design! Eva wanted elegance and romance! Her colors were whites, ivories and touches of lavendar. To compliment the lush high and low centerpieces in shades of white and ivory, we used a gorgeous sheer organza lavendar overlay, custom stationery and lots of crystals and bling! The room was uplit in ambers and lilacs to give a stunning glow.

Another Successful WEP 101 Class!

Yesterday marked our Spring session of Wedding and Event Planning 101 class. We had such a blast learning about important event planning topics such as getting started, networking, sales, industry expectations and much, much more! I was so impressed with the talent and personality of the students. I definitely saw some amazing event planner potential. I invited everyone to shadow events and sit in on a client consultation. I can't wait to meet up with all these fabulous ladies again in the near future!

A big thanks to all of our students who attended and made the session such a fun event: Jen, Lindsey, Brooke, Ashley, Kim, Lisa and Kelly. And a big thanks to Lisa Plociniak from A Touch of Elegance for sharing her floral design knowledge with everyone. I will be scheduling a Summer session of WEP 101 very soon. PBW Clients Nicole and Jonathan will be boarding their plane momentarily and heading to the gorgeous Sandals Dunn's River Resort in Jamaica. In a few days this fun loving couple will exchange vows on the beach in front of 25 of their closest friends and family. It's hard to believe we've been working with Nicole and Jonathan since 2008! Naturally, we will be sad to see them go...but of course, we are beyond excited that their big day has finally arrived. We will be sure to post pictures just as soon as we can! Congrats to the soon to be new MR and MRS!
