You love us, you really, really love us!!!!

Great news!!!! PBW has received (for third year in a row) the honor of being chosen as one of the Knot's "Best of" for 2009!!! We just got the news last week...and we're elated! Thanks so much for voting and for being such big fans and supporters of our work. We are truly honored! To do what you love and get an award for it is just awesome! Here's to a fabulous 2009!

Charitable Couture - A Project Bridesmaid Event

PBW was elated to receive an invitation to this year's Project Bridesmaid/Planet Hope launch event in NYC hosted by Modern Bride. Project Bridesmaid is a charity that was founded by Kelly Stone (Sharon's sister) in hopes of collecting and donating beautiful dresses to young girls in need. Just last year over 2 thousand prom dresses were donated to teenage girls in New Orleans who tragically lost everything to Katrina.

The event was held at the one and only Hammerstein Ballroom and was attended by some great leaders in the bridal and fashion world... not to mention some fun and fabulous TV Celebs (see pics below). The amazing Shontelle performed and she rocked the house!

While I didn't personally place any bids, (I am far from fitting into Kim Kardashian or Julia Robert's dresses) there were dozens of designer couture dresses and gowns worn and then donated by celebs that were up for auction. These dresses were selling for thousands...so some really great money was raised to help the charity.

We always enjoy attending fun and swanky events in NYC but we felt especially honored being a part of something so charitable!
