Come Fly With Me...

One of our favorite couples recently tied the knot in true aviator style! Amy and Peter exchanged vows at the historic Oakside Mansion in Bloomfield, NJ. The theme was "Come Fly With Me" and paid homage to the groom's military background and love of all things flight/aviation related. When the couple asked us to help them bring their theme to life without turning the tent into an air force base...we were a bit hesitant..but we always love a good challenge! As you can see from the pics, the couple's vision was achieved!

Black and White Elegance at the Venetian

One of our most glamourous and fabulous couples recently celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Venetian in Garfield, NJ. Congrats to Olimpia and Antonio! We enjoyed working with you and being a part of your special day!

This event was simply fabulous in every sense of the word. The decor was absolutely breathtaking...custom satin black and white linens with touches of bling everywhere! Amazing, lush floral centerpieces overflowing with roses, orchids and calla lillies. Guests were treated to a delicious bag of biscotti at the end of the party, and all the ladies received a rose as they left the party. Pure class...pure elegance...pure fabulosity.

Special thanks to Michaels Florist, Carlos Bakery, Linenstock for all the custom linens, The Infernos for top notch entertainment (did I mention the lead singer from the Duprees just happened to show up and serenade the couple with their 1950s hit "You Belong to Me?"), Mary Anne Mendes for hair and makeup, L.D Bright for the insanely wonderful pictures, Videoccasions and of course the amazing staff at the Venetian. We appreciate all that you did!!!!

I want to especially thank my fabulous PBW girls (Melissa, Aimee and Monique) as well as our interns (Jen, Lauren and Gina) who were on hand all day to ensure the bride and groom had a flawless day!

Weddings, Weddings and More Weddings!

We're so sorry for the delay...but in our defense..it's wedding season and Septembers are insanely busy! We've had the honor of working with some fabulous couples over the last few weeks and we can now officially blog about them! A big congratulations to Brooke and Larry who tied the knot on September 14 at the gorgeous Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ.

A special thanks to Rebecca and her staff over there! You guys did a phenomenal job! We will post some professional pics soon...but here are a few shots of the tables and the oh so simple but elegant decor. Jar of Ideas made the fabulous wedding day stationery...You rock Jen!

Celebration by the Sea: Sarah and Eugene

Summer may be over, but things are truly "heating up" at PBW...it's our busiest time of year, for sure! We are ready to go...and we kicked off our blitz with a gorgeous end of summer wedding at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Sarah and Eugene are longtime sweethearts that wanted a shore wedding, without the "beachy" elements normally attached to such locales. Sarah and Eugene envisioned greens and blues...reflecting the water...with lots of special touches that represented their personalities and heritage. With many guests coming from all over the country (and world!), they definitely wanted to create an atmosphere that would blow their guests away. After more than a year working with both Melissa and Jenny, their vision came to life...and it was better than we all imagined! The ballroom looked AMAZING..it was completely transformed into a sultry, chic and sophisticated space...that totally set the mood for a wonderful celebration!

The night kicked off with an Irish band that got things exciting, especially for the many guests that travelled from Ireland to join in the festivities! And then, the celebration truly blasted off as Sounds to Go DJs brought the house down and had guests on their feet for 90 minutes straight!

Many thanks to Leah and the entire staff at the Ocean Place resort and Spa for their assistance throughout the day and for being wonderful throughout the final stages of planning...you guys rocked! Daniel Coyle and his staff from Daniel Coyle Photography (www.danielcoylephotography.com) for being on hand all day to capture their happiness, you never stopped (!) and we cannot wait to see the awesome pics! Jill and Linda of Rose Petals and Lace (www.rosepetalsandlace.com) ...what can we say, you definitely rocked it out and all was fabulous, as usual! Joe Malfa at Wedding Cinema (www.weddingcinema.us) ...thanks for really "getting in there" and catching all the fun! Lighting was done none other than our dear Bob Lo Bue of Visions Lighting...amazing job! All of the stationery for wedding day was fabulously designed and assembled by Cam Turner of Cam Turner Design (www.camturnerdesign.com).

Thanks (and many props) to the fantastic work of Mike and Mike Jr. at Sounds to Go Djs (www.soundstogodjs.com) --above and beyond, guys!

And we cannot forget our fabulous Aimee, that completed our team and "did her thing" to the fullest...Thanks Aimee!
