Christen and Jeff - Elegance at the Palace!

It's hard to believe that Christen and Jeff (who hired us almost two years ago!) finally tied the knot! On Saturday the couple exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony in Freehold and then celebrated at the gorgeous Palace at Somerset Park. We always love working at the Palace, and as usual, they did not disappoint! A big shout out to Alan...our fabulous maitre'd! Thanks so much!

Christen and her bridesmaids looked stunning (special thanks to Michelle Loconte of www.pinkcombsalon.com and Jeanine Mangan http://www.jmmakeupdesigns.com/ for working their hair and makeup magic!)

As for her wedding design, the bride chose elegant high centerpieces filled with lush florals in shades of white and cream. Gold candlebras combined with endless candlelight, hanging crystals and champagne satin linens made for breathtaking tables!

A big thank you to Melissa who was such a big help to me on this event...and of course, we have to thank our intern Cindy (former PBW bride turned student turned fabulous assistant) who was there to assist on Saturday!

I must thank all the other vendors who did such a fabulous job!

Studio Square and PBW...a Fabulous new Friendship!

Melissa, Angela and I had the pleasure of recently going for a tour of New York City's HOTTEST new event space, Studio Square. After hearing so much about this space...it was delightful to finally scope it out...thanks so much to Melissa and Amy for inviting us!

All we can say is WOW...this place is an event designer's dream come true! Multiple floors of sleek, modern and sophisticated spaces...with killer views of the NYC skyline!

Take a sneak peek at just ONE of the swanky spaces...isn't it so chic?!

After salivating over the incredible spaces (and all the amazing designs that could be done in them-LOL!), we had an explosive meeting of the minds...which led to the presentation of an amazing opportunity for us at PBW!

We are so flattered and incredibly proud to announce that Pampered Bride Weddings has been asked to be one of the Preferred Event Designers for Studio Square! Thanks so much to Melissa Weiss and Amy DeVito for thinking of us ... we are looking forward to doing many gorgeous events in this space!

To see more of this unique, ultra-chic venue, Go check out http://www.studiosquarenyc.com/!

There's more to report to you all...but we will keep you in suspense...this one is BIG..SO BIG...

Adrienne and Eddie - Dare I Say "Perfection?"

I feel so blessed, because in recent months we've had a good number of what I call "perfect" weddings. What I mean by that is simple...The relationship is wonderful. The wedding design is beautiful. The bride and groom (and their families) are all amazing people. Well...on Saturday, we had another "perfect" day! PBW clients Adrienne and Eddie got married in style and we were so honored to be part of it.
The weather was absolutely spectacular!!! Everything ran on schedule. The food and entertainment were fabulous. As a matter of fact, everything was simply..well...perfect!

The couple exchanged vows at St. Michaels in Cranford and then celebrated at the stylish Stone House at Stirling Ridge. Special thanks to Rebecca and Frank at the Stone House for their excellent service! We love working with their team.

The bride's vision was all about romance, elegance and candlelight. Her colors were ivories and creams with touches of gold and auburgine. She used a satin pintuck linen on the tables and complimented with a gorgeous ivory lamour napkin. She then incorporated auburgine in the chair sashes and table stationery. Guests were definitely impressed! They also enjoyed delicious food and amazing entertainment all night long!

Special thanks to our top notch vendors:

Blame it on March Madness???

Please, please, please accept our apologies for the lack of blogging lately. The last few weeks have been busy ones! I think we can officially say PBW has experienced MARCH MADNESS! From this day forward we promise to NEVER again let 5 days go without blogging...I don't care how busy we are. If you take the time to click and read, I can take the time to type and post! Fair deal??? LOL

Things are moving quickly at PBW! Lots of updates to report. We're currently scouting for the perfect location for this year's KNOT vendor appreciation party. We have a few great locations in mind and should have the winning location chosen by April. We're booking new and fabulous clients left and right! I'm really excited about our latest batch of brides. Their "dream weddings" are out of the box and will afford us alot of creative license! (Event designers love that!!!!) We are almost done setting up and decorating our 2nd office location in Shrewsbury. We would've been done sooner but Melissa and I stared at and contemplated paint chips for 3 weeks! Next to choosing your child's pediatrician and pre-school, choosing office paint color is the THE toughest decision you will ever make!!! LOL.

And while I can't spill the beans quite yet, I can assure you that we will definitely have some great news to report in the next few weeks. But for now, let's focus on the present! Today is a special day because one of our fabulous brides, Adrienne, will walk down the aisle! And then next week is finally the big day for Christen, another fabulous bride with whom we've been working for almost two years!!! So first off, congratulations to these beautiful brides!

The sun is shining, deliveries were received, all vendors are confirmed...it's the beginning of a perfect wedding weekend in the crazy life of an event planner! This is the March Madness I actually enjoy!!!! I promise to report back with details about today's big beautiful wedding! Right now however, I have to start getting ready for Adrienne's big day. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

Professional Pics for Dorothy and Ray! Better Late Than Never, Right?

Last spring we had the privilege of working with the fabulous Dorothy and Ray. The couple were married in June and celebrated at the beautiful Mill at Spring Lake. Dorothy called on PBW for some assistance with design/decor. However, she hardly needed any help... this DIY bride was so glamorous and had such an eye for detail and color!!! I love DIY brides that truly think outside the box and incorporate loads of vibrant color and texture! Here's to the happy couple...pretty soon they'll be celebrating one year together as man and wife!

A PBW Triumph of UberFablicious Proportions: Vanessa and Patrick's Wedding!

March 6, 2010 was such a magical day for our gorgeous couple Vanessa and Patrick. For Pampered Bride Weddings...it was an honor beyond measure to plan, design and coordinate all aspects of this stunning affair! There were simply NO WORDS to accurately describe everything this wedding was...so our very own Adhari came up with a word that took all the deliciousness and fabulously amazing details and rolled it into one..."UberFablicious"!!

Vanessa came to PBW over a year ago and it was very clear to Jenny and Melissa that this was going to be a great adventure..and boy, it really was!

It all started with a classic color palatte of whites, champagnes and golds...which we adored! A year-long collaboration with the amazing Lisa Plociniak and her team at A Touch of Elegance brought so many design concepts that we had to restrain ourselves at times! The winning reception design included using a combination of long "tuscan" tables, numerous rounds, and a scattering of square tables to display Vanessa's wish for luscious florals and jaw-dropping romantic elegance, with a pop of modern design.

Numerous design meetings, fun lunch get-togethers and many, MANY text messages all led to a day that was nothing short of PERFECTION!

Vanessa was a vision in a Platinum Collection Priscilla of Boston gown...it was wonderful having Eleanor (from the ever popular Kleinfeld in NYC) on hand for the little touch ups all day..that bustle was a doozy...but looked amazing! Our groom was super dapper and looking oh so handsome...as were all his groomsmen, who were probably the most helpful set of guys we have ever encountered (Thanks guys!). The images from Josh Lynn simply speak for themselves...

We cannot go further without taking the time to thank the MANY people that helped create the MAGIC we saw throughout the day!

Reception Site: The Venetian (www.venetiancaterers.com)

Many, many thanks to Carlos Fernandes and his entire team for working with us for months to make sure everything was flawlessly executed for our couple.

Floral Designers: Lisa Plociniak and Team -A Touch of Elegance
There are just no words...really. The pics show it all...you ALWAYS amaze us, but we were actually in tears when all was complete...a true class act!

We simply CANNOT WAIT to see all your pics...it may take us quite awhile though! You and your team never missed a moment...truly astonishing work..cannot thank you enough!

Thanks to Mike and Janice for capturing all the emotions of the day..including the priceless reaction when Vanessa and Patrick saw their ballroom for the first time! Wonderful job!

To our ENTIRE staff (very accurately dubbed "The Dream Team") that day..in addition to Jenny and Melissa:

Adhari, Monique, Erika, Aimee, Jenn and our intern Sandi

All hands were on deck..and we could not have accomplished what we did without you! PBW is so proud to have such a wonderful staff of lovely "UberFab" ladies!!

Now onto more pics...HERE THEY ARE!!! ENJOY!!

Don't you LOVE Vanessa's reaction?!

Though we are SO SAD that the day has come and gone...we are so thrilled to have had the pleasure of working with such a wonderful couple..and to have been welcomed into a family that we have come to love. All we can say to you all is "Abrigado!".

We wish our couple a lifetime of love, health, and many many years of happiness!

Sassy and Swanky Shower Invites!

As you all know I'm a lover of all things PAPER! The right invite and stationery can speak volumes about an event! So when PBW client Ashley needed fabulous bridal shower invites designed, we called upon the amazing Jennifer of http://www.jarofideasdesign.com/ to come up with something swanky and sassy...and a bit reminiscent of "Sex and the City." As you can see from the images...mission accomplished! We are so excited about designing the bridal shower! P.S. wait until you see images from the wedding coming up in June...it's going to be uber delicious too!!!
