Saneddie and Mitch - A Perfect Fall Wedding

October 11th was a gorgeous day for a Fall wedding. Saneddie and Mitch's dream wedding came true featuring burnt oranges, browns, and golds all throughout the day. Hosted at the beautiful Newark Club, this wedding exuded warmth, love and intimate details from the menu cards to the wishing tree. Saneddie has to be one of the most radiant, fun loving ready to have a good time brides. Adorned in her Blue Manolo Blahnik shoes, this bride definitely stole the show. The bride and groom sent their guests off with a sweet dream of a candy bar assembled by PBW's own Adhari & Monique. A big thank you to Jasmine Photography (professional pics coming soon, Catering Sales Manager Artie Wassif and Jar of Ideas Stationery for helping us make this such a beautiful day. We hope the couple enjoyed their Hawaiian Paradise honeymoon!

Jar of Ideas and CLB Photo...Perfect Combination!

Check out this clever and fun save the date from PBW clients Ashley and Anthony! (sorry it's so small and blurry) The couple (probably one of the coolest, most fun loving couples you'll ever meet!) are having a very bright, colorful and over the top wedding next spring. I can't let all the juicy details out...but I CAN tell you that guests will definitely see things they've never seen before!!!

The couple wanted a save the date that introduced wedding guests to the fabulous event they would soon be attending!

We combined the fun photography of CLB Photo (http://www.clbphoto.com/) and the unique custom designs of Jar of Ideas (http://www.jarofideasdesign.com/) and here is the end result! I love the vibrant colors and how the couple looks REAL! There is nothing stuffy about these pics whatsoever! Just LOVE that.

Note to future brides/grooms: I have always been a fan of save the dates...but this particular vibrant design may not be up your alley. So I definitely encourage you to meet with a graphic designer and discuss your wedding inspirations, your vision, your personalities. I'm sure you'll come up with something that's a great representation of you and your wedding!

More Fabulous E-Pics!

As you know, I'm such a sap when it comes to engagement pics!!!

I love the most recent photos Scott Bush of http://www.scottphotography.net/ shared with me of PBW clients Elyssa and Tom. The pics were taken at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

We cannot wait to start designing this couple's Fall 2010 wedding...they have such great style. We're pretty sure this wedding will be gorgeous!!!!

Nikki and Mike - Featured Wedding!

We are so happy to announce that PBW clients Nikki and Mike's wedding will be featured in the next issue of The Knot NJ magazine. The couple had their reception at the beautiful Liberty House back in May and the party was fabulous!!!!!! The colors were rich purples and hot pinks fused with a black and white damask pattern. We see this design scheme popping up everywhere...it's so hot!!!! We even had custom lamp shade centerpieces designed by Lisa Plociniak at A Touch of Elegance and they were GORGEOUS!!!! Marry that with couture stationery, rich linens and fireworks...and well you have a wedding to be remembered! We will definitely let you know when the magazine hits newstands! Special thanks to Lisa and her team at A Touch of Elegance, Cam Turner Design, Sounds to Go DJs, Sensibly Sweet, Original Runner Co, CLB Photography, and Danielle and her terrific staff at the Liberty House and our friends at the Knot!

BizBash 2009!

On Wednesday we trekked over to NYC's Jacob Javitz Convention Center to attend BizBash 2009! All I can say is "WOW!" There were so many amazing booths...you name the speciality...they were there! Lighting, linens, rental furniture, speciality entertainment acts, delicious catering...It was a blast! Naturally we were scoping out trends and what's HOT in the coming year. We've said it before and BizBash only reinforced it, but metallics are SO HOT! If
you can incorporate golds and silvers into your linens and rentals, you are golden! (no punn intented!) Florals were lush and over the top! Check out these great pics from Signature Rentals...great tablescapes incorporating today's latest metallic trendsI also ran into one of my WWIIA co-stars, Shawn Rabideau. I've always admired his work and how he works on television...well he's just as nice and down to earth in person! Great meeting you Shawn!!!!! We also saw our buddy Alex (owner of Screaming Queens) He's always such a blast..and his entertainers constantly steal the show! The highlight was definitely getting to meet Jerry Sibal of Fusion Design...his work is beyond fabulous!
We will definitelly be attending next year's event!

A Wedding That's Emmy Worthy!

This past weekend PBW had four amazing weddings! I will definitely get blogs up on all of the great events!!! But this particular blog is dedicated to a very special couple with whom I had the pleasure of working! Liz and Todd (both television producers and extreme lovers of all things television related) had their dream wedding at the Rockleigh Country Club.
The bride came to us earlier this year and had a vision...red and teal with hints of NYC art deco style and a touch of glamour. I was so impressed with her personality and enthusiasm (not to mention the fact she's an EMMY AWARD WINNING DIRECTOR!!!!!) that I couldn't wait to start designing her event. I love it when a couple has a "theme" but doesn't take it overboard! We incorporated their love and nostalgia for television history by doing subtle yet meaningful things like naming the tables after popular tv shows. They even had an antique television set transformed into their gift box. It was so unique and truly representative of the fun loving couple.
Special thanks to Touch of Elegance for the beautiful flowers, Elegant Ensembles and JahPan for the entertainment, Cam Turner for Stationery, Aga Images for photography (professional pics are coming soon) and Jasmine Photo for videography. And of course, a huge thank you to Jeff and the entire staff at Rockleigh Country Club! We always love working there!
PBW wishes the happy couple all the best!!!

Bidding Adieu to Two of our Favorite Bridal Magazines..

The publishing company giant, Conde Nast recently announced they would be closing down four magazines. Cookie, Domino, Elegant Bride and Modern Bride. Being a foodie, wedding guru and die hard bridal magazine junkie... I was obviously quite upset by the news. Let's all wish the best to any magazine employees whose jobs may have been affected. And of course, we will continue to support all remaining Conde Nast publications. So please get out there and show your support by picking up a local Brides magazine!

Happy Reading!

Lori and Steve - Over The Top Modern Glamour!

Last weekend was one for the records! PBW pulled off yet another BEYOND fabulous event! We helped Lori and Steve create their modern and super glamorous wedding at the one and only Mallard Island Yacht Club in Manahwkin, New Jersey.
The couple hired us last year and had one request...make this wedding one that guests will talk about for years to come!!! We jumped at the opportunity to work with this high class, sophisticated couple. Their tastes were dramatic and elegant. Color scheme of rich reds, auburgines, deep shades of purple and gold accents. Totally HOT! The centerpieces were to be high, lush and breathtaking! Every design element...stationery, lighting, favors, rentals were to be over the top!!! We were up for the fun...and ready to deliver the glamour!
These pics simply do not do this wedding any justice...we wish we had taken more...but we were so busy that day!We will be sure to post professional pics from Dave at Studio Photographers very soon!

We incorporated square tables, gold chivaris, bengaline linens, gold rope elements and silk dupoini napkins. The cocktail hour had an entirely different vibe...we went with a black and white motif with pops of hot pink. Guests really enjoyed the white and gold blinged out lounge furniture and photobooth from NJ Photobooths.

The reveal was spectacular (this is something an event planner never gets tired of.) The couple walked into their ballroom and simply gasped!!! We live for those moments!
I have to thank my amazing team ...my PBW ladies really went above and beyond and I'm so thankful to all of them! Melissa, Monique and Aimee...I'd be lost without you!

And of course...we can't forget our top notch wedding professionals...everyone did an outstanding job!

Vintage Glam...with a side of Rock n Roll! Cam and Patrick's Big Day in AC

On September 19th, PBW had the honor of taking part in the celebration of Cam and Patrick's nuptuals at the uber funky Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City. Cam is a dear friend to PBW, as she is one of our amazing graphic designer vendors...and we jumped at the chance to design and assist in planning this sure to be fun celebration!

Cam and Patrick really loved the idea of something funky...but still keeping it classy. They love old time Vegas, Rat Pack style (I mean, they had a Sinatra singer at cocktail hour!)...and keeping it black and white with some pop. And Cam...being the paper diva she is, created the most perfect logo for their wedding! The logo was used everywhere...from the amazing boxed invites, to the custom runner from The Original Runner Company (
www.originalrunners.com) .

Lisa and her awesome crew at A Touch of Elegance tied it all together with fun arrangements with feathers and pops of zebra print and bling...totally out of the box and it totally ROCKED!

Melissa and Erika "held it down" and even shed a tear (or two) as Cam walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender" (the groom is a huge Elvis fan).

Special thanks to Kristina, Susan, and the staff at the Chelsea! Also, to Mike Hernandez and Sounds to Go for the music and fantastic LED lighting! To Darren and Taylor at Aevum Photography for taking awesome pics and operating your fun photobooth! Jonni Drue at I'll be Frank for the cocktail entertainment...you sound just like ole Blue Eyes...amazing!

All of us at PBW wish Cam and Patrick all the happiness in the world! We are so happy to have been there to share in your most special day!
