On Saturday PBW clients Lindsey and Steve tied the knot in style! The couple celebrated their wedding at the one and only Liberty House in Jersey City....This wedding was over the top in every way, shape and form. From the menu, to the florals, to the entertainment...this couple spared no expense and did everything they could to WOW their guests! Mission accomplished!!! When the couple hired us in 2008, their request was simple...bright colors...amazing design...and if we could throw in something that reflected the bride's love of horses and all things equestrian...that would be even better!
I truly loved working with Lindsey...so much energy, so much fun...just a fabulous, classy bride. We were honored to be part of their planning process and big day.
The Design!!!! The color scheme was as fun and cheery as the bride herself! Hot pinks, bright oranges and various tropical colors filled the cocktail hour tent, ballroom and after party. Guests entered cocktail hour and were blown away by the breathtaking horseshoe place card arrangement. Rosepetalsandlace.com really knocked this one out of the park! Guests were simply in awe by its presence and beauty. Tables were covered with glitzy overlays in shades of orange and pink. The ceiling had dozens of unique lanterns and floral adorned umbrellas. The Reception....Centerpieces were lush and tall and filled with crystals and candles. We incorporated crushed shimmer linens, bengaline cushions, green glass chargers, satin napkins, shiny napkin tassles, couture stationery and high end room lighting. The ceilings were adorned with crystals and the couple had a custom monogram gobo on their dance floor. Guests were treated to a vivacious Mariachi band during cocktail hour as well as a fabulous strolling table (this was a huge hit...I highly recommend to the fun loving brides out there!) Before dinner was served, guests witnessed beautiful fireworks show! And when the reception was over, guests were invited to an amazing after party downstairs...complete with a live DJ, tent lighting and fun party foods like sliders, mini pizzas and Red Bull cocktails....It was just a fabulous event!!!!
