Hello Budding Event Planners,
I'm happy to announce that we will be holding our next Wedding and Event Planning 101 Session (WEP) on Sunday August 1st from 10am to 4pm.
It's hard to believe this is our 3rd session of the year already! I've enjoyed hearing success stories from former students. It makes me quite proud to see so many of my students starting their own companies, landing jobs in the industry and making a name for themselves.
So due to popular demand...we've scheduled a summer session!!!! I hope you can make it.
Space is limited so please contact me asap if you're interested!
Topics that we will cover: getting started, sales, branding, networking, advertising, do's and don'ts of the industry, vendor relations and client relations. We will also discuss wedding planning services, pricing and briefly talk about event design!
For info/details please email jennifer@pamperedbrideweddings.com
Excited to see you on August 1st! Have a great summer!

Lindsey and Steve - Featured in New Jersey Bride Magazine!
Here are some images from the most recent issue of New Jersey Bride! We always love working with editor Molly Tully. She's got her finger on the pulse of the wedding industry and never fails to put out a fabulous magazine. In this issue she interviews the fabulous David Tutera! We're also excited to see PBW clients Lindsey and Steve's colorful Liberty House wedding featured! There's a also a great piece about photography and albums featuring the work of Joshlynn.com (and we love the fact that PBW clients Lauren and Geoff's album is featured.) Josh did such an amazing job on their pics and album. It definitely deserved to be shared with everyone! It's a great issue with lots of informative articles and stylish pictorials....I highly suggest you run out and get your copy today!

Beachy Chic: Carissa and Jason's Special Celebration
On April 20th, PBW couple Carissa and Jason exchanged vows privately in a gorgeous ceremony overlooking the breathtaking beaches of Hawaii. Carissa came to Melissa months ago wanting to celebrate their union with a small gathering of friends and family once they returned.
The venue was perfect...McCloones's Pier House in Long Branch...the perfect spot to revive the memories of the beach ceremony and share their joy with their loved ones.
The venue was perfect...McCloones's Pier House in Long Branch...the perfect spot to revive the memories of the beach ceremony and share their joy with their loved ones.
On June 12th, Carissa and Jason welcomed 65 of their nearest and dearest to a beachside luncheon that exuded "beachy chic"...with a sleek lounge overlooking the ocean and lovely light draping to elegantly divide cocktail hour from their private dining space. Thanks so much to Adam and staff at Jersey Street Furniture for providing the goodies to create the look!
Thanks to Tatum, Nelson and the staff from McCloone's for being ever so gracious. To Denny Testa at OffBEET Productions (http://www.offbeetproductions.com/) ...the music was so great, thank you! And to Keith from CLB Photography (http://www.clbphoto.com/) ...awesome, as always!
Congratulations Carissa and Jason! We loved working with you and wish you nothing but the best!

The PBW website...change is a good thing!
Please pardon the appearance of our website over the next three to four weeks. We are redesigning, revamping, refabulizing etc. every page for your viewing pleasure! We did over 50 weddings this past year...and we need to incorporate some new images onto the pages of our gallery. We also have to introduce our newest staff members and share some exciting features and business ventures. Your patience is appreciated and I'm positive you'll love the finished product! Stay tuned....

PBW Conquers Delaware!
This past weekend marked our first wedding EVER in the lovely state of Delaware! Erika and I ventured to the Dover area for a few days and we had a blast!
Alexis and Josh (both are Wesley College Alum and the groom is currently the campus football coach) hired us last year to help them design and coordinate their campus wedding. The challenge: turn a cafeteria into an elegant space for a wedding. I just got a glimpse of the professional pics...and I have to say...that room looked nothing like a college dining hall! We used a striking color palette of black, white and hot pink. With simple yet elegant floral arrangements, a touch of damask pattern, pipe and drape and pink uplighting, the room wowed guests and most importantly, pleased our clients!!!
I want to personally thank all of the DE vendors who 1. put up with this fast paced and highly demanding NJ planner and 2. helped make the day so perfect! I truly appreciated your efforts!!!!

Here's to a Crazy Busy June!
As I prepare to travel to Delaware to work a wedding at Wesley College, I wanted to take five minutes and share a few words! June is always a busy month for all of us at PBW. We have six June brides this year...not a record, but several of them are "biggies" so we're all super busy with prep and final touches! I want to wish this weekend's brides nothing but the best!!! Here's to Alexis and Carissa...We've enjoyed working with you this past year and are excited to be there with you to ensure your big day is nothing short of fabulous! I'll be tweeting all weekend so be sure to check out pics/updates from our events as they unfold! You can follow me on Twitter @Jennyorsini. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!!!!

A Bright and Tropical Sample Meeting!
I simply love working on design samples for clients. These meetings are a planner's opportunity to showcase their work AND potentially make their client extremely excited and confident in their planner's ability! I'm happy to say that yesterday's floral sample for PBW clients Ashley and Anthony went off without a hitch. While I can't divulge the true theme of this wedding, I can share the colors and overall design scheme we are going for. As you can see from the pics, we are incorporating bright summer colors (hot pinks, bright greens, vibrant oranges) to achieve an elegant tropical design. Lisa from A Touch of Elegance designed towering and breathtaking palm tree centerpieces filled with lush florals. The place settings will be layered and texture (A MUST IN MY OPINION!) will be used throughout! There is an entirely separate "theme" that's oh so secretive...so you'll just have to wait until late June to find out!
There really wasn't anything that could have made yesterday's design reveal more fabulous! I take that back...we could've held the meeting on a tropical beach!!!

The KNOT and PBW...Always a Winning Combination!
For four years now, we have had the honor and privilege of planning and designing the vendor appreciation parties for the Knot New Jersey. We're so excited to announce that we will once again be coordinating another stylish event for their upcoming September party! I'm happy to share that this year's soiree will be held at the lavish Palace at Somerset Park. We simply adore working at the Palace and can't wait to start planning!
A Memorial Day Weekend Wedding Celebration
This past weekend we saw clients Robin and Tim get married on the beautiful grounds of Rutgers Gardens. The bride chose a spring color palette of bright blues and yellows with a rustic elegance vibe. We also incorporated horseshoe elements to celebrate the bride's love of horses! Special thanks to all the great vendors who helped make the day a success! Mike from Twin Oaks Caterers, A Touch of Elegance for the beautiful flowers, Sounds To Go DJ's for entertainment, Michelle Loconte and the ladies of Pink Comb Salon for beautifying the bridal party, and Santos for transportation. All of us at PBW wish the couple a fabulous honeymoon and years and years of wedded bliss!
xxoo
