Wedding and Event Planning 101 - Another Great Session

Yesterday's WEP 101 class was, in a word...fantastic!!!

I want to thank everyone who attended. These students (Sandi, Bridgett, Rose, Jamie, Aelicia and Alicia) were top notch and definitely have futures in the event planning world! I can't wait to have them intern at PBW!

Shannon and Chris (with whom we absolutely adored working!!!!) tied the knot in July at the one and only Steinter Studios in Brooklyn. The wedding was gorgeous..mixing black and white damask with pops of bright lime green. It was fun, modern and simply beautiful!

Congrats again to this undeniably stylish and fun couple!

Autumn Elegance for an awesome couple: Samantha and Jeremy

PBW had the pleasure of working with Samantha and Jeremy to help plan and coordinate their October 23rd wedding in Monmouth County. Melissa met Samantha and Jeremy fall of 2008 and they hit the ground running... booking venues and vendors and designing a clean and elegant fall fete that would wow their guests. Over a year of planning together proved to be quite a fun time, as this couple always made things interesting...and always made Melissa laugh. Erika was brought along for the ride and shared in the fun as Melissa's right hand day of.

The couple exchanged vows at Mary Mother of God church in Middletown..then headed to Deep Cut Park for pics. It was a bit chilly...but judging from the amazing pics from Elisabeth Millay at Elisabeth Millay Photography (http://www.elisabethmillay.com/) ..I'd say they didn't mind a bit!

Then it was off to South Gate Manor in Freehold for the reception. A wonderful cocktail hour...complete with a Virginia Tech Hokie ice sculpture (yes, they met there!) kicked off what was sure to be a most memorable night. The reception room was gorgeous...high and low centerpieces with vanda orchids and dahlias...accented with willow branches...totally set the mood (thanks to the lovely ladies at Rose Petals and Lace http://www.rosepetalsandlace.com/) , along with lovely amber uplighting from Infinity Studios. Beautiful day of stationery by our fabulous Cam Turner (http://www.camturnerdesign.com/) matched the decor perfectly!


Sam and Jeremy definitely wanted a party...and they sure had one! The dancefloor was packed all night...thanks to Johnny Budz and his team at Elite Sound Entertainment. Josh Lynn and his awesome photobooth from NJ Photobooths (http://www.njphotobooths.com/) was a true hit...as always!

Special thanks to Chris, Matt, Bobby and the staff at South Gate Manor for being so accomodating. Also, thanks to Rob at Rob Adams Productions for documenting the day so wonderfully on video.

We are so happy for you Samantha and Jeremy...we had a blast working with you and wish you all the best!

Wedding and Event Planning 101 Course - Last Call for This Sunday's Class!

We have a few spots available for this Sunday's (Nov 8th from 10am to 4pm) Wedding and Event Planning 101 Class. Due to unexpected family commitments, two of our students had to unfortunately cancel. I keep my classes small (prefer an intimate learning environment!) so we only have 2 spots available. This is your chance!!!! We will not be holding any other sessions until after the holidays.

About the class:
If you're new to the industry or are looking to find out if you're a good fit for the business, then this class is perfect for you! We'll discuss sales, branding, getting starting, do's and dont's of the industry, and dealing with clients and vendors. You'll hear from an award winning photographer and floral designer too! Saneddie and Mitch - A Perfect Fall Wedding

October 11th was a gorgeous day for a Fall wedding. Saneddie and Mitch's dream wedding came true featuring burnt oranges, browns, and golds all throughout the day. Hosted at the beautiful Newark Club, this wedding exuded warmth, love and intimate details from the menu cards to the wishing tree. Saneddie has to be one of the most radiant, fun loving ready to have a good time brides. Adorned in her Blue Manolo Blahnik shoes, this bride definitely stole the show. The bride and groom sent their guests off with a sweet dream of a candy bar assembled by PBW's own Adhari & Monique. A big thank you to Jasmine Photography (professional pics coming soon, Catering Sales Manager Artie Wassif and Jar of Ideas Stationery for helping us make this such a beautiful day. We hope the couple enjoyed their Hawaiian Paradise honeymoon!
