The latest issue of New Jersey Bride Magazine is hitting newstands! They were a sponsor at last night's Wedding Party event so everyone got a copy. I got a chance to take a peek inside...and wow, what a great issue! So many beautiful real weddings and some fabulous wedding fashion and design articles too. I really loved the article about NJ weddings and reality television! There's also an article inside about the growing popularity of photobooths at weddings. Josh Lynn and I had the honor of being interviewed for this piece. Just a fabulous issue all around...so be sure to pick up your copy soon!

The Wedding Party - A Swanky and Spectacular SUCCESS!

Words cannot begin to describe the success of yesterday's event at the Meadow Wood Manor. The Wedding Party was pure swank and style! We were happily overwhelmed by the turnout and couldn't have asked for a more amazing event!!! I must first thank our sponsors...New Jersey Bride, NJwedding.com and the beneficiary of a portion of the night's proceeds, Autism Speaks.

This event was a labor of love, a collaboration of so many people's efforts and a dream realized. This event could never have happened if not for the hard work of Ryan and the entire staff at the Meadow Wood Manor, Lisa and her team at Touch of Elegance, Rich and his team at Infinity Entertainment and Walter from Eloquent Studios. I was honored to be associated with this exquisite party and look forward to hosting many, many more!

I must also thank the vendors who were involved and donated so many outstanding tricky tray prizes. And of course, I have to thank my team...they worked so hard all day and I couldn't have done it without them. To the brides who attended....thank you for coming and taking part in what is sure to go down in history as one of NJ's hottest bridal events EVER! It was an honor and a pleasure to meet so many of you! And to the talented event planners who came...I loved chatting with you and I hope you had a fabulous time!!! And of course...a big congratulations to all the winners of the over the top tricky tray prizes!!!

Photobooths - A Fun and Inexpensive Way to Add a "WOW" Factor to Your Event!

So many of our clients look for fun and creative ways to add that "wow" factor to their event. We have found that renting a professional photobooth for your guests to use at the wedding/event is a great way to introduce excitement!!! Contrary to popular belief, rental prices are not astronomical! In a recent article (coming out soon in New Jersey Bride) I was asked to weigh in on the popular photobooth trend. I highly recommend brides check them out! They really do add a level of fun and excitement to any party! Here are a few strips from www.NJphotobooths.com. The first is from Samantha and Jeff's wedding back in December and the other is the PBW gang taking a five minute fun break at a wedding we did at Mallard Island in October. Football...Weddings...Babies!!!!

Back in 2008 we had the honor of planning Dallas Cowboy defensive end Stephen Bowen's wedding to the beautiful Tiffany Johnson. The wedding was glamourous and elegant...and as avid football fans...we were all so honored to meet some of the team's players that night. Just a wonderful bunch of people!!!!

Now...for all of you football fans out there, you know that the Cowboys are probably heading to the NFL playoffs soon! We couldn't be happier for Stephen's success! Not only is the couple experiencing amazing professional success, but they also achieved a beautiful personal triumph this past year. Stephen and Tiffany welcomed their first child! Trinity Jade Bowen was born on November 29th!!!

All of us at PBW want to congratulate the couple on their blessed event! Here's a photo of their adorable bundle of joy!

New Year...New Press!

We were asked by our dear friend Molly Tully (editor, writer, bridal guru extraordinaire) to transform a local chocolatier shop in Cranford (Donna Toscana...owned by our favorite chocolatier Diane Pinder) into something unique for an upcoming photo shoot. The story was about girlfriends and chocolate on Valentines day....a winning combination in any book!

We decided to mix it up and deviate from the Valentine's "norm" of reds, pinks and hearts galore! Instead, we used Miami as our inspiration. The color palatte was white and aqua with accents of chocolate brown. The party/photo shoot was a sweet success! The ladies had a blast sipping on gourmet chocolatinis and enjoying a gorgeous spread with chocolate fondue dipping treats!
